At the beginning of July, Kai and I headed to Ontario for a month of fun with my family. The highlight was the camping trip with all of the cousins together for the first time since Andreas and I got married in 2008. It was such a thrill to get to see Brayden and Nicole again and to see Austie and Vinnie as grown up boys. The cousins had a great time swimming in the lake and playing in the tents. There were some moments of tension as the weather became extremely hot — close to 40 degree with humidity.
After Susan and Jek departed, our friends Julia, Paul, Louise and Jeff arrived to continue the fun.
